![]() Originally posted by HoundEyeX:On standard difficulty it certainly feels unbalanced and unfair. Has anything changed in the core game that may affect the campaign missions so badly? I don't feel like it is a L2P issue, but I'm open to discussion. Again, no great player and making a lot of mistakes, but I've found the American campaign to be frankly way too punishing on Standard difficulty. I've tried AI skirmishes outside the campaign and I fare quite well. I've struggled a lot in the Bastogne Outskirts mission for example, where the enemy comes out with Tiger Aces in the first phases of the mission. The issue I'm facing is that the campaign is really hard! I agree that some degree of added difficulty is quite welcome, but I've often found myself struggling with the skirmish-style maps where after 10 minutes the germans are swarming with Luchs and P4s while I still have M8s running around as my best vehicle. ![]() So, since I've enjoy the time spent playing it I've bought Ardennes Assault. Actually the Soviet Campaign was quite easy on standard difficulty. I'm no great RTS player, but I've managed to complete CoH1 campaigns and CoH 2 Soviet Campaign without major hiccups. I'm currently playing the AA campaign for CoH2 and seriously struggling to go ahead.

![]() War Thunder A bomber discussion - Beginner's guide The main point of the heavy bomber class is to destroy several groups in a single run, or even go after the coveted base destroyer. Takes a lot of training, heavy bombers can be a burden to your team in most cases. They contain the largest bomb loads of all the bombers with around 2000kg up to 10000kg worth of bombs. Heavy Bombers are the pinnacle of target bombing. ![]() Typically possessing 3-5 turrets, they pose a greater threat to some of the more careless pilots. With a slightly larger bomb load of 1000kg-2500kg, these planes are meant to be serious ground bombers. Most medium bombers are meant to be a compromise between heavy bombers and light bombers. To combat this, pilots will need to learn to utilize their maneuverability and to keep their rear gunners' field of fire clear. Most often, light bombers will only be guarded by 1-3 turrets, leaving these planes most vulnerable during a bombing run. Most light bombers are meant to be fast, maneuverable, and agile with light bomb loads usually around 500kg-1500kg. There are 3 types of bombers in War Thunder: Light/Dive Bombers, Medium Bombers, and Heavy Bombers. 2 War Thunder A bomber discussion - Beginner's guide Thank you to Bis18mark70 for the videos Strategy. |
